What is Coins?

Coins are the currency printed on starter, intermediate, and advanced tower prices. You see Coins and Gems together on the lobby counter. Match payouts of Coins and EXP arrive on the triumph or defeat screen. Damage you deal, wave rewards, and economy towers such as Farm and Cowboy also create cash during a match. That in-match cash is not the same balance as the Coins you spend in the lobby shop.
